Slide out Issues

I have a 2020 Hideout 186SS. We can not extend our slide. Only one side will open. It sounds as if both motors are working and there doesn’t appear to be any foreign objects anywhere. I am wondering if anyone knows where the control box for the slide is located on this model? I have exhausted all avenues trying to find this information. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ok. Have you tried re synching the room?

With it retracted, press the extend button for 2 seconds, then press and hold the retract button until all noise stops. Repeat 2 more times.

Then press extend for 5 seconds and then retract until all noise stops. Do this 2 times then try it.

Thanks. I will try that. Hopefully that’s all it is.

If that doesn’t do the trick, the controller will be behind a panel, near the slide. May be behind a drawer, under the bathroom sink ( if the bathroom is close and in the same wall).

Looking at a 2021, if the floor plan is the same, I would look either under the bed or in the pass through.

This is something I was told during my PDI when I purchased my current Cougar. The wardrobe slide is Schwintek and was told when you extend it or retract it do not stop during the operation. Also do not stop until the motors have completely stopped. So far I have had no problem with it.

Thanks for the reset info though Chuck, I made a note of your instructions in my phone.

Your welcome. Not stopping during travel can cause issues like the OP is having. I took formal training from LCI a few months ago.
