Polar pack questions

Can any one share your thoughts and challenges with your polar pack repairs. We had some mice take up residence last year and need to repair/replace some duct work that has been compromised. It seems that the main fasteners that hold the plastic card board polar pack to the frame are a type of nail and I am concerned about how to replace the existing "nails" with self tapping screws. Any help is welcome...

Did they change how they install the colorplast? Every rv I’ve seen uses self tapping screws with a 10mm or 3/8” head. If yours is different, just get a bunch of them to reinstall the colorplast.

You can pull the “nails” out and put self tapping stainless screws back in the holes.

Take out as many as needed to fix the mice issues and off to the big box hardware store for screws and washers.

Many manufacturers are using “nails” that are shot in, been that way for at least 5 years that I know of.
