A/C Fan

I have a 2022 cougar 364bhl is the a/c fan in the living room suppose to come on when the heat kicks in? It starts up as the furnace starts. Just wondering if this is normal. Thanks!

It's normal if you have the thermostat fan switch set to HI or LO. If you set the fan switch to AUTO the overhead A/C fan will not come on.

That is a "feature" installed in many/most air conditioners to help "rapidly distribute warm air throughout the trailer to help warm it up faster." Some would agree, most would likely say it's a nusiance noise and doesn't help enough to endure the noise.

For ours with iN·Command you set heat to gas and fan to off. Then only furnace operates.
