Cargo capacity or payload capacity?

From what I've seen and understand payload is simply gvwr minus curb weight. Example if 10k gvwr and curb weight is 7,500 lbs then payload is 10,000-7,500=2,500.

Cargo capacity is simply the measurement of a confined space behind the driver or in the truck bed measured in cubic inches or feet or milimeters, or meters, or liters, whatever

That's my understanding, I'm sure if someone has more knowledge then me they'll chime in.

The only specs and figures that matter are what is on the yellow and white stickers on drivers side. These are for your truck.
The Ford site snd literature is only a generalization of that line.
