Ok those fuses were blown. The fuses are 35 amp, which is weird. There are no 35 amp fuses to be found in my small town and I just ordered some online. Of course, I'm planning on using the camper tonight and this weekend. Could I get by with putting in 30 amp fuses until the 35's arrive? Worst that could happen is fuses blow again, right?

Might get you by. Your battery will be pretty flat and may require the converter put out maximum amps. You can always take a battery charger along to supply 12V should the fuses blow. Only use the charger if the converter is off. By this I mean the 120v feed to the converter.

Fuses are something you should carry with you. I have 2 or 3 of every size I may need in my tool box, for both the trailer and truck.

JD, check your fuse collection to see if you have a 35 amp. I didn't have one and I've yet to see a "set" of fuses that includes a 35.

I have collected over years and purchased many in smaller packs, never purchased a large set. That is what I would do now, purchase a set and pickup the ones needed that are not in the set.

I started my collection about 20 years ago with our first camper, a popup.
