Fifth Wheel Hitch & Receiver

Just purchased a new 2012 3500 RE Alpine and the dealer told us that the trailair and 26K husky receiver is a good combination. I am just wondering if any of you more experienced fifth wheelers can tell me if this is a good one or not. Thanks

I am interested in this answer also. I just bought a Cougar HC 291RLS and they will be installing a Husky hitch.

I have the same rig and would like to add a hitch. Let us know what you find out!

looks like a nice hitch - but i do not know any one who has one. Trailer dry weight of 12k- hitch rated for 24 should be fine.

If your using it in a short bed- make sure its a sliding hitch.

HI ALL I HAVE A HUSKY HITCH. 16K HAVE HAD IT SINCE 2003. HAS BEEN VERY GOOD NO SURPRISE UN LOCKS THANK YOU! NICE PART ABOUT THE HITCH IS IT DOES NOT WEIGHT TOO MUCH! I CAN EASILY REMOVE IT SO THE BED OF MY TRUCK IS OPEN FOR OTHER USES. I BELIEVE HUSKY WAS PART OF OR BOUGHT OUT VALLEY HITCH. PS MINE IS NOT A SLIDER I HAVE AN 8FT. BED
