Solved RV fridge not working on gas.

Received or new 24 RDS cougar 1/2 ton This month And the refrigerator ran fine both on gas and electric until our first stop and would not ignite again on gas. Igniter was working fine. After returning home I did some research on this site and others to try to troubleshoot it. The stove and heater would work fine on gas. I disconnected the gas hose before the gas shut off valve at the fridge and could smell no gas. I had it off for sometime then reattached loosely while I was looking at other things and came back and I finally had gas to the valve. So there was a pocket of air between the valve and the tank, It did worked fine for quite some time before we left so I did not expect the air pocket. If this was already solved by someone and they posted it I just could not find it. At my age that’s not too uncommon. LOL Just thought I’d share the experience in case others have the same problem.
