Looking for stair treads like these. Anyone know where I can find them?

I’m guessing your trailer didn’t come with steps like that? Most likely, you could just go to a cabinet shop and have them made. These aren’t something you will be able to order from a dealer or Camping World or others. Are you replacing steps in an RV?

You should be able to remove the step you have and build a new set. Unfortunately, they will probably extend out into the room at least the depth of the additional step. You must have the minimum depth of steps for safety, too short of steps will be dangerous and difficult the go up and down on. What trailer are you working with, year and model?

We have a 2016 Hideout 175LHS (second owner) It only has one fold down step, is one standard for this model We'd like to add a second step to make it easier for us old folks to "mount up!"

Is this what you are thinking of doing? I found these at either Home Depot or Lowes, in the nicer wood section. They are laminated oak stair treads, I cut to fit.

kneeslider,
I believe the previous posts are discussing the interior steps found inside of fifth wheels. Folding steps that you speak of would be the entry steps (exterior) and yes there are a few options for replacing the factory installed units.
One such option is a solid step that is mounted in the door threshold of the trailer. These steps are stored in a vertical position (inside the trailer) when not in use. Another option are the Glow-Step brand retractable stairs. Similar to your factory stairs (and installed in the same location) these steps offer additional steps thus decreasing the rise calculated into your present factory steps. They also have glow in the dark stickers on each tread, hence Glow-Steps. The benefits of both are obvious but the only drawback I have heard of is that the solid steps tend to drop dirt and mud inside the trailer entrance and the Glow-Steps to fully deploy require more area on the door side of the trailer, usually only a problem in some limited storage situations.
I believe both of these products are available on etrailer.com and with a little wrenching and support can be self installed. I installed my own Glow-Steps on my fifth wheel. Both manufactures offer guides (on their websites) to help you measure and order the correct unit for your trailer.
Good Luck,
RMc

Perhaps you didn't notice that the discussion was about 5th wheel steps into the bedroom area. You are likely talking about the outside step at your door. I had a camper with one step a few years ago and bought a replacement two step as the drop from the one step was about a foot or more. If you measure the width of your current step, just buy a two step of the same width. As I recall, it is easy to install. I still have the single step out in the pile of junk on the porch of my workshop.

If you go to https://www.etrailer.com/RV-and-Camp...SMFP-2100.html and scroll down the page, you'll find a chart with the frame width, step height and part number required.

There are several widths, several step height configurations and a wide variety of models to fit specific needs... What's on YOUR trailer will probably be different than what's on someone else's trailer, even if they are the same model but different years.... Measure your steps based on the information in the above link and you'll come up with the right model for your trailer.

I still have a brand new 3 step that I ordered to replace the 2 step on my Passport's rear door.. I measured the front and mistakenly thought both the front and rear steps would be the same... NOPE
