I'm with Chuck, and I don't have a diesel, but I believe there has been extensive commentary on the break in required for the Ford diesels before towing.....and that's a big trailer.

There is a break-in period called out in the Owner's Manual. It said a minimum of 500 miles before towing and 1000 to fully break if iirc. I was careful though and drove the truck for ~1500 miles before picking up the trailer to make sure I was over the hump before I took delivery yesterday.
And yes, the trailer is a BEHEMOTH. Oddly though, it tows rather nicely behind the F350 DRW. Super stable, no chucking, just happily trundled back to my storage slip near my house.
Long drives with this thing will be a breeze!

Thanks!
Right now we are sticking to state parks because the availability of spots was better.
Later this year we might try some private parks

How did you like Fort Stevens? We generally stay in the CB/Arch Cape/Manzanita area but Fort Stevens looks fun too.

Fort Stevens is a great place. Costco & Fred Meyer nearby for those 'restocking' needs, lots of great nearby microbreweries and Astoria is a nice little town.
Seaside and Ecola state park are very nice as well. We typically hit Ft Stevens every year but with the pandemic our borders are closed and we can't visit them for yet another year now.
Great setup BTW, enjoy!

Ah! Vancouver, CA. I assumed Vancouver, WA
Seaside and Ecola are awesome too. Being close to Costco and Fred Meyer seems suuuuper convenient. Even when we stay in CB, we usually drive up to the Warrenton Costco to do our shopping so being 10 min away seems pretty nice.
Honestly the whole coast from Astoria down to Tillamook is awesome. I think we are just going to stay at every town down the coast until we get bored!
And thanks! We love this setup!

If you are on the Oregon coast be sure to have a bowl of clam chowder in Depot Bay. It’s the best on the coast! At least it was!
