Grey water tank valves

Hello I just bought a 2015 Bullet Premier 31BHPR and it has 2 grey tanks but only has one grey water drain handle. Are the 2 tanks tied together? I have looked underneath and there is only 1 grey water handle. Right now I am cleaning the tanks. The black is full and only one of the grey waters is full(think it the shower because it started to fill the tube). I know the shower and sinks go to separate tanks but running the sinks is not filling up the other tank by the indication. Any help is appreciated. I read where some say the two grey tanks drain by one handle and others say there is another handle but I do not see it or any small openings underneath where it use to be.

I'm betting you have another valve either not found yet &/or the handle has fallen off, but typically the 2 grey tanks won't be connected.
The gauges won't be of much help either as they are notorious for being totally useless. They still may read full after you've dumped them.

Why do think it has 2 gray water tanks? If you are going by a "tank" monitor on the panel they often use a panel that shows 2 gray tanks when there in fact is only one tank.

So the specs on NADA.com and rvusa.com both say there is 2 grey water holding tanks. The panel also shows 2 grey water tanks. Neighbor has trailer and his son-in-law does to and he came over and after looking, it looks like there is only one. The sink drain does not go thru the floor. It is piped thru cabinets to tub. I can not see connections because I do not want to pull a tub out but looks like it connects and drains into one tank

So on handle falling off. The bottom is enclosed and do not see any holes where a handle might go thru. I know it is a small hole but there are no extra holes underneath. All of the openings that are there have been foam sprayed and are air tight.

This NADA lists one gray tank. https://www.nadaguides.com/RVs/2015/.../6538345/Specs

Look around the wheelwell on the drivers side. The second gray tank handle is usually in that area if you have two grey tanks

Look at it this way:

If there is one tank, draining it will allow all the "gray water fixtures" (tub, bath sink and galley sink) to drain. So, fill the kitchen sink until it won't drain. Pull that "only handle" and drain the gray tank. If the sink starts to drain, you've only got one gray tank. If, on the other hand, the sink still won't drain, you've got another tank and there's a handle (or a hole where the missing handle was) somewhere under your trailer.

If there are two tanks, with the exception of only one 2017 model in another Keystone brand, there are two handles. As far back as I can remember, only one Premier model used "combo plumbing" with one drain valve plumbed to both tanks. That "time/money saver" was short lived to one model year and then discontinued in favor of two tanks/two valves, the traditional plumbing configuration.

Not familiar with the floor plan, but if the bath is on the opposite end of the rv as the kitchen you should have 2 grey tanks. If the bath & kitchen are together, say in the center of the rv, then most likely only one.

Here is what I can find on that trailer;

https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2015-...31bhpr-tr21372

Initially I looked at the floorplan and thought 2 grey tanks. Then I looked at the specs and it shows 1 of 30 gal. OP seems to indicate there is only one. On the other hand, that is sure a big trailer to only have 30 gal. of grey water.

The Keystone specs call for a 30 gallon gray and a 30 gallon waste (black) tank. Other models in 2015 show 60 gallon gray and 30 gallon waste. I think this indicates only one gray shared between the bath and the galley on the 31BHPR. https://www.keystonerv.com/historica...266&label=2015

There are errors in the specifications by Keystone. My 2019 Bullet 248rks is listed as:
Number Of Gray Water Holding Tanks:1
Total Gray Water Tank Capacity 60.0 gal.
This is an error because it does have TWO 30 gallon grey tanks, dump valves, and monitors.

Where did you find a reference to the number of holding tanks on the Keystone website? All I've ever found is the total capacity (in gallons). Typically the tanks, if there are two, are the same dimensions as the black tank. In other words, if there are dual gray tanks and the black tank is 30 gallons, there are two 30 gallon gray tanks. If the black tank is 38 gallons, the total gray capacity (if two gray tanks) is 76 gallons....

I'd really like to know where the "tank quantity" is listed by Keystone. I've seen it on RVUSA and RV Trader websites, but never on the actual Keystone website....

BTW, the link to 2019 Bullet specs that I see on the Keystone website lists your trailer with 30 gallons waste (black) and 60 gallons of gray capacity. When you look at the trailer floorplan, there's no way to drain the galley sink into the bath gray tank. There's no way to maintain the slope required to reach the tank and keep the plumbing run under the trailer floor. https://www.keystonerv.com/travel-tr.../bullet/specs/ Click on "floorplan year" in the upper right corner to select "2019"

Bullett gray water tank

We have a 2018 Bullett Premier that the specs say 60 gal but there are 2 tanks (control pannel shows 2 gray). The 2nd one is about 5ft to the rear of the main blk/gray outlet. The 2nd tank had a handle extension that was only held on by 1 set screw and it came off the fist time I tested it. There is only a small slit in the plastic for it. Could be they forgot to put the handle extension on. You can cut a small area too look and cover it with Gorilla tape.

My 2020 Transcend Xplor has 2 gray water tanks but only 1 valve which dumps both. There are the two small lines coming to the one valve. If I check the guages on the control panel, they will both read the same - both tanks 1/3 full, both tanks 2/3 full, etc. So the tanks must be connected and equalize out. 78 gallons total.

On the same side as the other valves go look near the axles. It’s tucked up there and you have to look.

My 29rld has 2 Gray Tanks.
The 2nd one is on the street side in back of the wheels.
The dump handle is further under than the front dump valves.

Grey tanks

I don’t have a Bullet but my Cougar has two grey tanks and I have to crawl underneath to about the center of the RV to pull the valve for the other tank. Poor engineering. Not sure if it will help but I hope so
