Fireplace heat

My in-laws have a 17 outback big travel trailer and they can leave the fireplace on non stop and bake out their trailer. It’s been that way from day one brand new.

My parents have a Fuzion and claim they don’t know how they did it but now their fireplace will stay on non stop if they want

Ours in the Alpine, turns off after so long. I’m to lazy to walk out and look at the manual, but I have a feeling something is Hacked in the folks fireplaces now, like a blown fuse or something.

Any ideas what’s going on?

Most RV fireplaces have a "timer" you can set for a preset amount of time or just keep pressing the remote until the "timer" is off and the fireplace will stay on.

Thanks! I guess I haven’t figured it out quite right after after 2 years of fiddling with it. See how lazy I’ve been?

Ours has an adjustable thermostat behind a panel at the bottom of the unit that we leave turned all the way up and I believe that keeps it on all the time.

Ok I will look. It seems that either way with timer or thermostat on, that eventually it turns off without really heating the space. Thanks!

Ours had an adjustable thermostat that could be set and it would cycle off an on, a low setting that ran at 750W and high at 1500W - both were manual and ran constantly....and would literally bake you out.

Our 335 Laredo fire place can stay on for as long as we want.
Turned it on last night and hardly used any propane.
We are using it right now in St Louis where its 50 and raining.
