3530FWDEN Maiden Voyage

We just got back from a 2 week extended stay in our new Sprinter 3530FWDEN. This is our 4th rig and it was by far the best maiden voyage I’ve ever had in a new trailer. I may be jinxing myself but everything went without any issues at all. The ONLY thing I can actually think of is that our Solera Awning seems to not be coming in all the way on one side but that should be an easy fix.

I’m overall very happy with our Keystone. I’m not convinced quite yet of the overall build quality but as long as it continues to go this well, I’m sold. I was also very pleased with the towing characteristics of this unit. My 2006 F250 PSD did a fantastic job and handled two long 8% grades with ease.

I do have a few upgrades I plan on doing but nothing major.

If you have any specific questions please let me know!!

We also have one, the 3531 with the residential fridge. Our maiden and the extended stay trips were uneventful with the exception of human error of not checking doors and drawers shut before opening slides on the second trip. We removed a door on the passenger side lower library. Very embarrassed DW but nothing a trip to the hardware for a set of hinges, glue and longer beam clamps didn’t fix. Happy and safe travels!
