Staying around Branson, MO

Staying 4 nights in Kimberling City, MO at the Port of Kimberling Marina and Resort. Very nice and pretty convenient without being in the traffic.

Chip,

How long are you going to be there? If you're going to be there, and haven't seen it, the Christmas parade at Silver Dollar City is pretty neat. I don't know when it starts but it is worth it in our opinion. They also have some nice shows that are included in the admission. Just thinking....

We did make it to SDC in Thursday. No crowds at all. Did the shows and the parade and bought season tickets for next year at a great price. Also saw the Christmas Wonderland Show.

We love Branson and met with a realtor about buying some property to retire on on the near future.

We love Branson as well. Been there so many times and don't get tired of it. Like you, I am still thinking about buying property there. I was thinking of Reed Springs or somewhere in that area. There are so many ways to have fun there. If you like Table Rock it's nice but you might look on out toward Bull Shoals too. Good luck.

We found a nice undeveloped 53 acre plot outside of Lampe for a great price. Not sure what or where we'll wind up, but we are looking on that side of Branson. I had to fill my propane tanks in Reed Springs. Reminded me a lot of Lake of the Ozarks! I've been on Bull Shoals several times as a kid. My uncle owned a resort there.
