Cougar steps

I didn't even notice something until DW almost took a header, and I was informed to do something about It now. The steps on the camper are about 7inches , so three at 7inchs the last step to ground is 13inchs. My last TT I remember was 9inchsteps. I'll have to build a lightweight step to pack along.any suggestionson something light tough and portable?

Doesn't your cougar have 3 steps? Mine does and we don't have any issues.

My in-laws use this platform step for their motorhome.

There's also an aluminum model, and another with adjustable length legs for uneven ground.

thanks terri, I missed them on camping worlds site.
My floor is 34inches from ground, three steps 7inchs each thats 21inches, that leaves 13 to the ground. I didn't think nothing of it until my wife complained. I made a step , two 10inch chunks of 6x6 Treated post, and a 10inch by 24inch piece of 3/4 inch plywood attached. Went to my buddys house, measured his nash TT His floor is 35inchs from ground, his steps are nine inchs each , with only 8 inches left to ground. I think the timberlodge I used to have was about the same. 7 inch steps are more comfortable looks like Ineed a four step.

I have the same step KanTC linked to. It works well and can be used folded or opened for two heights. It's a little heavier than I expected, but it is deep and it's 24" wide. I also like the pattern so dirt and/or sand will fall through.

Has anyone used the new four steps , I'm 260lbs just wondering if they are sturdy enough to hold.My three step feels kinda flimsy on the bottom step.
