Slide rubber wings

On one of my slides the rubber wings don't extend like it's suppose to. I treat with slide rubber stuff that was purchased at Camping World and it stays rather flexible, but doesn't bend outward when the slide comes out. The measurements are identical to the other slides and they fully extend. Any one else have a similar problem. Thanks

I have the same issue with my inner set, but it doesn't bother me. Rain has never gotten in and I have two layers of the rubber wings (inner and outer). Which set isn't being cooperative?

As far as it not flipping the other way, it may be too slippery to stick enough to flip.

It's the outer wings that don't flip. I've considered it being slippery, because I lub it often. It's never leaked, but it bugs me that it won't flip, top and sides . Someone told me to use silicon instead of that Campers World stuff that foams. I guess I'll try it till I get a definite solution.
