Landing Gear Switch
I have a 2011 Cougar 327res and the manual landing gear switch on the front of the unit does not work. The landing gear works fine with the remote but not with the manual switch. I know if you turn on the landing lights with the remote you can't turn them off with the manual switch but is there something with the remote that keeps the manual landing gear switch from working? Is there a way to reset it?

I would say there is something wrong with the switch. You may also look at brain box behind the battery to see if a wire might be unhooked.

Turns out is was a blown fuse. Don't know how it can work with the remote and not with the manual switch with a blown fuse but it does.

Landing gear / remote
I also have a 2011 327res but havnt realy checked out the remote operation I knew i could do the slide rooms with it. but didnt know the remote would also control the landing gear. But while camping on our first time our docking light came on by themselfs. When I got home and parked the trailer they where still on. I disconnected the battery and heard a click like a relay reset itself. Hooked the battery back up light where out. tried switch everything worked. So why that happen like that I don't know.

Once you turn on the docking lights with the remote, you have to turn them off with the remote before the switch on the front of the trailer will work. I did the same thing, went out at night and saw the lights on and couldn't figure out how to get them off. It's easy to turn them on with the remote and not realize it, especially in the day time.

On my 324rlb, it's inside the front compartment where the landing gear motor is. I think it's either a pink or yellow wire, with an inline fuse - the fuse is a mini 30 amp I believe. You can prevent this in the future by not raising or lowering the landing gear past a certain point. Usually your legs will have a weathered mark where the top and bottom "limits" are, don't go past those "lines" when lowering or raising the landing gear.
