Fuses can be tricky!
During our last trip, our water pump suddenly stopped working. Since we're just short of the 2 year Flojet pump warranty, I called them. The rep emailed me some steps I should take to isolate the problem. Pump would run for a sec, then shut off--but most of the time nothing.
The rep mailed me out a new pump (got it in 4 days BTW). I installed it and pushed the InCommand power button and again - NOTHING! I could hear the relay clicking when I pushed the button on and off, but just to be sure, I swapped the relay out for a known good one and still nothing.
Though I wasn't expecting to find anything wrong, I went to the fuse panel and located the 10A water pump fuse. I touched it, and the red led on the circuit board flickered, whenever the fuse was slightly touched.
Turns out the fuse was good but not making good contact, so I crimped the fuse sockets slightly tighter, roughed up the fuse contacts, put it in and what do you know!
Good learning experience. Don't automatically rule out the fuse circuit, even if you pull the fuse and can see it's good.
And KUDOS to Flojet for a speedy resolution to what turns out to be not their problem.
