If you have no electric source and your camper is going to be stored for a while, then pulling the batteries and "tending" to them at home is best way to take care of them. If the camper is going to be parked for only a month, I'd leave the batteries and just make sure they were disconnected so there is absolutely no parasitic draw on them. If sitting longer, then bringing them home with you is probably the best thing.
