Kitchen gray tank fills fast
2022 29rli and my kitchen gray tank only holds 15 gallons b4 it is full. We tested this more than once using a gallon jug after making sure the tank is empty.
I was told the problem maybe the vent but I have 2 on roof. They are side by side and I thought these were bathroom and black tank. So where is the vent for the island kitchen tank? Would a clogged vent only allow 15 gallons every test if the vent is stopped up?
Once found, how do I test it?

When you say it only holds 15 gallons, at that point does water back up into the sink?

Your camper is equipped with 60 gallons of gray water capacity. My next step would be to find out how much water the bathroom gray tank holds. If the kitchen tank is only 15 gallons, the bathroom/shower should be 45 gallons.
I haven't measured mine, but I'm pretty sure they are 30 gallons each since the kitchen takes forever to fill.

Depending on placement of the 2 tanks, I have seen the tank vents plumbed together, so you only see 1 cap on the roof for the pair of gray tanks

With that floorplan there's no interior wall close enough to run a vent stack in. Typically there will be an air admittance valve mounted in the cabinet near the sink.

if you get a external valtera shutoff valve you can leave it closed and open both of your gray handles and you will make one bigger tank…some of your kitchen will equalize with the bath gray tank …that’s what i do

That works with standard RVs, I can do it with mine. The tank for the shower sits in the drop frame and is lower than the kitchen tank. Everything runs into the shower tank. Would be nice if I could double them up.

If you are determining that the tank is empty looking at the sensors they are notorious for being so inaccurate to the point of being useless.
If specs state you have 60 gallons of grey water it's almost a given you have 2-30 gallon grey tanks.

If your kitchen sink is on the island then it is not vented to the roof.it’s vented underneath the sink with a studor valve.. the tank itself of course is vented on the roof
