Looking for slide out button

Where. Are the slide out buttons for living room on a 2011 Avalanche 29 rl?

All your slide buttons on an Avalanche should be on the control panel where all your light switches are. Looking at the floor plan, I’m guessing that’s on the cabinet just inside the door. Sometimes they will put one up under the overhead cabinet if there’s one by the door or on the slide out wall. I’m not familiar with the 2011 Avs, but those are the typical spots. I don’t think the 2011 had hydraulic slides, but I could be wrong. What type of slide mechanism do you have.

The 2011 Avalanche brochure indicates that the slides are all hydraulic. If so, then the "individual slide selector valves" are located just above the hydraulic reservoir. Here's a part of the 2011 brochure showing the slide selector valves locaated just above the reservoir. It's "item #7" in the description.

Thank you for the reply. I think this is saying there isn't a button but something on the slide out itself to bring it in? My grandson was living in it and had to move and now his grandparents (us) are trying to close it up and put it in storage and we don't know anything about it.

Look at the photo I posted. You'll see a "item 7". It is the hydraulic reservoir and just above it is the manifold with 3 valves. Those valves are the "individual hydraulic controls" to operate each slide independently.....

That said, if you go to the main hydraulic control, it should retract all the slides with that one control. It will start with the smallest slide (least amount of hydraulic power requires) close that one, then close the second largest, then finally close the largest slide.... It's the "old rule of water takes the path of least resistance"...

Thank you, I now understand how it works. Also went to you tube and found a video explaining how one button controls all three slides. I assumed each slide had a different button or switch like our motor home. Didn't even know this kind existed. Appreciate the help.

Surprised they put hydraulic slides on a unit that didn’t have hydraulic auto level. My understanding is that the 2011 avs didn’t have that option available. I guess my assumption was wrong, I just don’t recall ever seeing it.
