lippert 3.0 and wheels off the ground.... Help with hook up.

Ok, new to us and the 3.0 system. Turned the 5er about 180 Degrees in the opposite direction to get ready to pull out next month. it's here on the concrete driveway. When we uncuppled from the Companion it made a clunk-Thunk (Very technical words) when we disconnected. Didn't think too much of it rather than the Trailer may have been slightly off level. So, continuing on, we pushed "Auto Level" and off she went. Up down, right left, over and over to find level. Cool!!! All done!

Question.... After observing the final results, the right two wheels are off the grond about 1.5's. When we go to re-connect and raise the rear legs, the trailer should put the wheels back onto the drive.... that means that the left front leg will come off the ground? and if so, how do I get the trailer re-hooked to the Companion? Slide some cribbing under the Right two wheels? Any insight would be appreciated.

You mean. 1 1/2 inch right?

Your companion hitch should tilt front to back and side to side. When you retract the rear jacks the wheels should set back down on the driveway. Your hitch should tilt enough to compensate, but you could set something under the wheels to help.

FFS... (Fat Finger Syndrome) Yes, 1 1/2"s. Sorry about that. Was thinking also, I could just smack my Andersen Levelers under the tires as an option also. Just thinking of taking the edge off the angle to the Companion for the hook-up.

When you are ready to reconnect press the left and right buttons at the same time. The rear jacks will retract and the front should go to where it was when auto level was started.

You dropped both front legs down before disconnecting, as mentioned, if you hit then left and right together, it’ll go back to hitch memory. It doesn’t have to be perfect, as long as your king pin plate rides up the hitch plate it’ll all level itself out. Just make sure when you back in that the hitch is tilted back and the trailer is low enough so it’ll ride up the hitch. That’s the only thing hitch memory doesn’t do. I always had to drop the front end just a little, but it gets it close
