Welcome to the forum

If you turned on the electric side without any water in the tank, odds are you fried the element. Is the LO side working?

You say brand new trailer. Has it ever worked? Is the gas turned on and the line purged?

Your message is kind of vague as to which is not working, and what heater you have. There should be a reset bottom in the lower left corner of the heater, next to the on/off switch. It is also possible that you have second switch on your switch panel inside the camper. Don’t forget to check your circuit breaker also.

If it’s the propane side, make sure your lines have been purged.

Good luck,
