Above tire wheel well

I was doing some work on a slide out on my 29RKS and found the underbelly above the wheel has been damaged, by what I think is road debris. The raw wood is showing now. With this particle board showing I'am sure the road spray from rain will rot it out.

You can clean the fabric real good and use scrim tape to cover the exposed wood.

I agree this could be the cause. It appears the same as the damage I incurred after bending my axles. How much clearance can you feel between the top of the tire and the floor? Mine was 1"-1.5". After the axles were replaced (FYI - determined to be defective and cost was covered), I have about 3" of clearance.

X3!

Did you install larger tires? That little clearance in the picture would scare me. Looks like you need new springs, or install a Correct Track system which gives a 2" lift.
