Jack stand
I haveimg tires replaced and will be servicing the bearings as well.
Due to forecasted rain rain I want to get the tires off today which means it will be on jacks for about a week.
My jacks are a bit short. Can I put them on the shackles as pictured? I’m guessing it’s fine but want options.

Personally for me Id have those jack stands on the axles right under the ubolts where the springs attach. Where you have that jack stand placed is putting a lot of load and stress on a thin bracket that is not made for that load...
Some will say only jack at the frame.. I have jacked at the axle for over 45 years and never messed up the axle camber...

Been doing the same for just as long & never an issue.
I wouldn't place the jack stand where you've shown for sure. If you feel you must be on the frame get some blocks under the stands & place it directly on the frame.

I have no issues using the axles. In fact it’s easier. I have just heard so much about not using the axles that I shred away from it.

Or...???? you could do it like this, and complete 1 wheel-tire at a time.

One of the weakest links in any RV suspension system is those "pesky spring hangers"... They're "cheap chinese steel bent "too long and welded to the frame by "welders who started work yesterday".... What could go wrong with putting a 5000 pound trailer on the "spring end" of those 3/16" thick cheap steel hangers as you lift the trailer, twist the frame by lifting the next axle and then leaving it with "uneven weight" on all 4 spring hangers for a week?????
Use the axles, they support the trailer weight "just fine the other 51 weeks of the year.....

If you have auto level use it in manual mode, otherwise I would do as suggested and out jack stands under the axle at the U bolts.

I’m getting new tires on Saturday. I don’t think the tire shop would appreciate me taking them one tire at a time. Lol

Ok. All 4 jacks are under the ubolts on the axles.

I think that isn't a very good idea ata all.
You have almost half the total weight of the trailer on one side of one axle. Given how marginally rated the axles are on TTs, I think doing that would almost guarantee bending the spindle end on the supporting axle.

It won't be 1/2 of gvw. First subtract pin/tongue weight then divide by 3 instead of 2. That won't be EXACT, only way to know that is to scale each position while configued with thz adjacent eheel removed. I wouldn't do it for a week but to change a tire (or for the short time to have one removed &replaced) it wouldn't bother me.

Or with this rig set the Level Up system to manual & raise all 4 at once with a push of a button, no jack needed.
