Awning mats?

I bought an Aeroweave mat and was so pleased with it, I was going to get another one (even at $90). Then I saw some poly mesh shade tarps online for about 1/3 the price. I am sure they're not the same but for that price I think I am going to try one - anybody else used something similar and have any comments.

Do you have a link for these? I got a mat from CampingWorld that’s a plastic weave, but it doesn’t let water through.

Here's a link for the shade tarps

I can't get the link right for the Aeroweave, but you can search it on camping world.com or Google it

Those look to be two different things. Aeroweave or my thingie for the ground, and the poly-mesh for shade cover, like for a gazebo or pergola.

Love the $60 mat I got at Wal-Mart. Same as the ones at Camping World.

I have had great success using cheapo Lowes outdoor carpet grass, it's water permeable light, folds down pretty flat and is cheap plus it looks like grass

The only thing I would recommend is take the time to put a match to some of the loose ends to keep it from unraveling.
