Awning strut

I think I need to replace my struts on my dometic power awning. I am not having any success googling the numbers on the struts. Wondering if anyone here had any insight on where to find them. They measure 28 3/4 inches when extended and 18 inches when retracted. I measured center it eye to center of eye. Here is a picture of the numbers on the strut. Can’t get the whole thing in the picture but it is a stalibus lift o mat

Sorry not a very good pic

Whats wrong with your awning? is it hanging up as it extends? there is a kit from dometic that cures that.

Yes it is hanging up when extending. One side goes out faster then the other. If you stop part way out and wait a few seconds the other side will spring out an catch up and then is ok the rest of the way out.

Chuckster I by no means doubt what you are telling me because from what I gather from being on this forum for the last year or so is you work on rvs for a living. I am pretty sure you know more then I do but how is a awning arm bumper kit going to keep one arm from hanging up.

When you install it, you'll see that it gets compressed when the awing is retracted. It acts like a "spring" and pushes on the arm as you extend. It should come with instructions on the location of the install.
