Equalizer shank date code

Does anyone know where on an Equalizer shank one can find its date code?

I'd contact Equalizer. They are pretty responsive. Is there a reason why you need the date?

Filling out the warranty card. They ask for the date codes of the shank and hitch head.

I don't believe you'll find a "date code" on the hitch, rather you'll find a "batch code" which Progress can use to find the date range of the batch. Here's pictures of where it "should be located"... Keep in mind that if a "custom" or "aftermarket" shank was used, you might not have the original "OEM" shank.

Mine is several years old now and I can't remember if I even filled out the warranty card on that one. If I did the dealer might have put the numbers on it.

I found the hitch head code (J16 - October 2016). I'll have to look closer at that spot on the shank.

Edit: The picture above helped and I found the shank's date code. The area had the paint worn off and some surface that so it was difficult to pick out the code when I didn't know where it should be.
