We looked at the 339 but didn't like that there was no counter space, and the cub couches in the bunk are just big cushions, and there is no outside kitchen. We did like the 2nd bathroom, just more to clean though. We ended up with the 336 and haven't looked back. Its all a personal preference what layout will work for you and your family. Just make sure you have enough truck to pull either trailer.

Just watch your payload, that's where you'll come up short. The 339 dry weight hitch weight is 1815 lbs. Depending on the year and style 2500 you could be at the max or over payload capacity. Remember everything you add to the truck, accessories, passengers, hitch, firewood, tools all reduces the amount of payload it can carry. And everything added to the trailer clothes, pots, propane, water, tools adds more pin weight. I had a 2500 and I was over my payload so I just upgraded to a 3500 diesel.

Yes I worry about this. The numbers on mine add up and it is comfortable to tow. But just like everything. Should I have gone bigger on my toe vehicle. But I already had the truck. We love pulling it and knock on wood have had no problems. I am very conscious of what we load and keep in the trailer and truck.
