Question Blown fuses

I have a question about fuses blowing often in our Alpine 3555RL. The fuse that manages our entry way and kitchen lights blows immediately upon turning the lights on. We have replaced the 15 amp fuse three times in rapid succession. Any suggestions on what we should check?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

If the fuse is blowing rapidly every time you replace it and turn on a switch, then probably there is a short somewhere in the light circuit to the switch you're using. I'd guess there's probably a bare wire connected to the bulb socket, possibly the two wire nuts that connect the light fixture to the trailer wiring harness.

Check the other switches on the same fuse circuit, if it's only one that blows the fuse, it's in that fixture or the wires that feed it, if it's in every fixture and switch on that fuse, then it may very well be in the converter behind the fuse panel, if you decide to take it apart to look, please remember to unplug your trailer from 110VAC shore power because it runs through the same "converter box" and there are bare wires behind the circuit breaker panel which will be exposed if you're "searching the DC side"

Good luck.

fuse

we had to replace the 2 bulbs above the kitchen sink and one of them had a short in it and as soon as i turned on the lights, there went the fuse. took a little while to figure it out since i had never had a 12 volt light that was bad before, you might check this also.............good luck...........ron

Great advice

Thanks to both JRTJH &Ron ! We will definitely be checking these out. Hopefully it will be a bulb. Thanks for pointing us in a direction to check. That is often the first step; knowing where to begin.

Cool Update on blown fuses

Here's an update: we checked our lights and the bulbs. One of the hanging lights over the sink was very loose and almost swinging free by the wires. Tightened this fixture, put in a fresh fuse, and so far so good....light without blowing a fuse! Hopes this stays fixed.
Thanks for the suggestion to check the fixtures.
