Short term storage

I have a 2014 Alpine 3010RE that I plan to use about once a month year round (some months more, might skip a month). I have covered shelter and 50 amp power. My plan is to keep it plugged in to keep from extreme heat or cold, run the fridge and keep the battery charged.

My concern is the hydraulics and leveling. I have a notable slope under my pole barn so when auto leveled the two left side tires are completely off the ground. Feels stable and level. Is this ok for a month at a time?

I'd like to be able to store it in a usable state ( slides open), but would I be better off closing it down and storing after we offload after each trip.

I have some silicone lubricant spray to hit the cylinders with to try to help preserve the seals.

Eventually I may have to level the ground under the pole barn, but it would take a lot of dirt and effort and I'm not ready for that project yet.

I would drive it in boards to level it so the tires are not off the ground. Can't be too good for it. Other than that, leave it set up, people who are seasonal do.

I was thinking it didn't look too good for it myself. I added some boards after the fact; they are not bearing any weight but the axles are not sagging. I'll plan on backing onto them next time I take it out.

Personally, just in storage I would back it on boards to get it somewhat close to level (both sides on boards to protect the tires) and only use the front jacks. No need to expose the others to the elements. I'd close it up, just because I don't like the idea of coming back to my RV and finding a bunch of bird droppings on top of my slides, awnings, etc. (not much you can do about the roof...

Some thoughts when storing for more than a few weeks:

Drain water tank and low point drains so water don't get stagnant

Put an open box of baking soda in ice box to keep it smelling fresh not sure id run it all the time think is shut it down and prop doors open

Cover tires and wheels to protect from elements

RV is under covered storage (pole barn). Roof is out of elements, sides are open. Fridge is cleaned out, dried and turned off. Fresh waster tank is drained, grey water tanks drained, just a few gallons or so in the black water tank for the chemicals.

I backed onto a couple 2x12s to support the tires/axles. Plan to leave it open with the AC on through the 4th of July weekend (show it off a little bit)' then I will close it down until we are ready to use it again.

Looking forward to it cooling off a little so we can start using it again; just too darn hot right now. Next trip is planned for August ( I know it won't be any cooler) but we are definitely going to use it as often as possible. Thanks for the advice.

Just a thought, I've found that putting newspaper in the fridge and freezer works better than baking soda. The ink in the paper does the work.
