Yet another battery question
So the dealer supplied battery is shot, have to get a new one. My Hideout has no slides, pretty much all basic appliances. Was this one even the right one for a basic deal like mine, or dealer doesn't care..buy same type or what. Oh, and we 99% of the time are hooked up to shore power. 1% at the wall mart camp ground ...

How long have you had the battery? Is it date stamped can't tell by the picture.

If your hooked to shore power 99% of the time, find an affordable group 24 dual purpose battery with a "x" year replacement warranty. I've seen these batteries on sale at Sam's Club for around $60. There is no need to increase size of your battery as that won't help with longevity. A prorated warranty will help ease the burden of replacement if that time comes prematurely.

Tom,
I'd guess your GP24 battery is in a GP24 battery box ?? If it is, you'll also need to buy a new battery box if you "upsize" to a larger battery.
As stated, with 99% of your use being on shore power, there's not really a need for "excessive battery power".
I'd just buy a replacement "marine/RV" GP24 and be done with it.
There's really no need to buy bigger batteries, bigger battery boxes and add the extra weight to drag around if you're not going to use it or need it.

Cain, I can look into these tea leaves and see, oh, maybe a Silverado 2500 in there. What's this? Ah, yes, a new Bullet 311 in matching colors....
