2012 318sab slideout fob

My remote that I use for the slide outs and awning etc. seems like it needs a new battery. Has anyone ever had to replace the battery? I see one screw on the bottom but still does not want to come apart...HELP!

You may have to slip a knife tip in between the halves once the screw is out. Just a thought.

There are 4 or 5 different remote units used in trailers during 2011/2012. It would be helpful if you posted a picture of your remote fob so members can more easily recognize what you have and help you with your question.

[/IMG]Here's what I found out that once I took the remote into warmer temperatures it seems to be ok but still want to find out if it needs a battery. Will upload photo of it
