Painted Dicor

Has anyone had experience putting fresh Dicor on top of original Dicor that has been painted? My unit has full body paint and when they painted the front cap, they painted the Dicor seal on the top. It still looks ok, but at some point I'm going to have to reapply it. There is one small spot I did last year and it looks like it attached with no problems.
