3811 ms

OK, so we've been looking and looking and today we went looking again, We're going back and forth between the Pinnacle and Montana. We really like the Montana 3811 MS and getting ready to pull the trigger on one. Does anyone here own one and if so, what kind of feedback can you provide on it?

We looked hard at that model but wifey decided the HC 370br fit her better. The sofa in the nose ~~ she liked the closet and W/D there better and will use the BR as her craft room while we are on trips of 1 - 3 months. Only viewed 1 Pinnacle and no comment as the floorplan would never work for us.

We have one. Bought in February this year. Love it. No major issues thus far. Had a few minor things but much less than our DRV. Having a large bathroom/dressing room is wonderful. The sitting area is nice, we have both used it. Gives you a place to be alone or if you watch TV you can have a place to watch without lying in the bed. We have owned about 10 rigs in our life time together and thus far this is by far our favorite. We certainly liked the amenities of the DRV and had it not come with some major issues it would have been at the top of our list. The AC in the Montana does have an issue keeping up with the temp in full sun, however, installing some reflective material in the rear and one side window has made a world of difference.

Bottom line, we couldn't be much more pleased.

We like the floorplan of our 3811MS. Only issues are 2 plumbing leaks easily fixed by tightening the clamps, leaking hood vent (major when rainy season in BC) fixed with waterproof tape, one recliner broke and Keystone replaced. We are still waiting to get the bedroom fireplace replaced but so far the dealer has not seen it fail. Will be following up next week. Also, the plastic skirt over the wheels comes into contact with the tire and has a small break. I am waiting to see if there is a recall since they will need to replace it with a properly sized piece.

We had the front window Montana 3711 front living room with that front window and it was a bug collector. Ours had raised edge along the top of the windows and seems if the bug wasn't smashed on the window the dead bodies would collect along the edge. It was a pain to keep clean!!!!!! Other then that we loved the 5er with very few problems.

We have a 2018 Montana 3810MS which is the same as the 3811 except that our fridge is an RV fridge. We are very happy with it. There a couple very minor issues that were easily rectified and were not disruptive to our travel plans.
