How to use my inverter?

I have a '12 Raptor 395LEV and they told me I could run light 120v off my batteries. I have two 12v deep cycle up front.

I'm still in Hill City SD at the Sturgis Bike Rally and leaving tomorrow. I'll be Walmarting it tomorrow night in Sioux Falls SD and would like to watch TV if possible.

Do I need to do anything special to get light 120v?

I hope I'm asking the right question.

Thanks in advance!

No need for 120 volt to operate the lights they're all 12 volt. As long as you have good strong fully charged batteries you're good with lights. You also need the strong batteries to power the fridge control board so it stays cool if it's the standard RV fridge..
The inverter should be automatically connected once shore power is lost. On most RVs it only powers the residential fridge with possibly one other plug. You will not have 120 volt power nor battery capacity to power all systems such as tv, ac, microwave or any other heavy draw appliances.
