Air Pressure Monitoring of Bagged Pin Box

Installed a 5th Airborne pin box with an air bag yesterday and decided to add a TST 507 hybrid cap sensor to allow the pressure to be monitored on the TPMS display.

Very nice!! I wonder how many people with TPMS and a hitch with an airbag think to monitor it also

Air Pressure Monitoring of Bagged Pin Box

Originally I was going to mount a T and a pressure gage like someone else on another forum had done. The sensor seemed like less work. A pass through sensor may have been better but I was concerned with it sticking out too much.

BTW: the 5th Airborne mounted in the same location ( the highest Ivan) lowered the nose of my FW by about 1/2” inch compared to the OEM Lippert 1621 pin box. It is the only one with an air bag that I found that did not raise the nose.
