Our Solution to short corded Appliances

Well our 2005 Copper Canyon has a large kitchen and only two duplex outlets. One on the wall near the sink, and the other on the wall just to the left of the range. This left a large area that could not be used with short corded appliances, that is no longer an issue.
Found 15 amp rated Popup Outlets on Amazon and ordered two, these are listed at 15 amp, with 14 gauge cords. Most listed are only rated at 13 amps with 16 gauge cords. Installed new 15 amp GFCI outlet under counter and hardwired to the GFCI feed through for GFCI protection. So now have two 15 amp circuits servicing counter top. New outlets located to the left of the ice maker, and to the left of the paper towel holder.
