Lippert Frame Failure

I just wanted to warn everyone about the problem I just encountered. My fifth wheel frame failed at the pin box. It is repaired now, but every Keystone manufactured 5er owner should inspect their pinbox. After mine failed and I looked into it, I found this is fairly common.

That looks extremely familiar.....Mine did the same exact thing. I figured it was my gooseneck adapter that lead to the problem. I took mine to a local dealer here in So Cal, and they completely rebuilt the front of my trailer with more bars, and stronger ones at that. Added a few hundred pounds of steel up front, but its solid as a rock now.
