The dilemma I now find myself in is: camping this weekend on our first trip with it and even only running the fridge during daylight ours and very minimal use of anything else (think tent camping), I do not have enough juice to put my slide outs in while trying to pack up this morning.

RV dealerships are not at all like car dealerships. In fact, they aren't "representatives" of Keystone, Forest River or any other RV brand, they're "dealers". The dealership chooses which RV lines it will carry, the manufacturers don't own the dealerships. I've seen dealerships drop specific model lines because they were too hard to deal with or quality wasn't up to snuff or they can add manufacturers/models. So when thinking about an RV dealership vs car dealership think of it more like "Big Bob's Used Cars" mega lot. Lots of cars from different manufacturers and he has no tie to any of them. Bob just chose those cars, put them on the lot and sells them. He may have a garage in the back for those 90 day warranty jobs and he may not.

As far as the battery issue on yours as John pointed out that would be a dealer issue and not Keystone. As it says, "batteries not included" meaning someone has to pick up the tab for whatever they may be. Looks like the dealer put in a couple but weren't the lithium....but I'm assuming you didn't pay a line item for them anyway right?

Newest problem Isn’t so much a manufacture mistake as it is a cheap manufacturing issue. The programmed the smarts hunt for 200ah when they only installed 2 - 81ah making the set points wrong and basically not fully charging the batteries and also draining them to 30% when the program was telling me weren’t going below 50%. I solved the programming issue and I have 2 - LiFePO4 300ah w/ BMS batteries ordered. I didn’t want to pay dealer mark up.

Next on the list: adding 3 Renogy 200 watt solar panels, upgrading to a 100/50 charge controller, and installing a 3000 watt or higher inverter.
I just got mine back from the dealer and they are blaming my dead refer plug to an "improper inverter" wiring issue. I have the 400i setup with dealer installed batteries. I mention this because the way the work order report was written up, it seems that it was actually a loose connection issue. But by blaming other issues (i.e. inverter) they can get better reimbursement from Keystone perhaps?

I too have lithium batteries that I'll upgrade to. I don't think I want to add extra panels just yet but I do want the 3000 watt inverter with a soft start AC plus I'll wire in the microwave circuit. My upgrade isn't so much for boondocking but rather between stops for lunches or downtime comforts.

Which batteries did you order?
