GFCI tripping

We have a 2022 Fuzion 373 that we pull with a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 SRW.
Our Fuzion has a residential refrigerator with an inverter. We are constantly having our GFCI outlet trip which shuts off our refrigerator. We just had it at the dealership for 2 weeks and they said they couldn't get it to trip. We live in it, and just got it back today. It has already tripped on us 4 times. Any ideas?

I would switch it to a non-GFCI circuit. They are often on a dedicated circuit.

What type of a circuit do you have the rig plugged into at your home? If it is another GFCI circuit, that is your problem. Try plugging the rig into a non GFCI circuit and your problem will probably go away. A good article to read about GFCI tripping is here, and it might explain why your power is tripping out at home. https://www.rvtravel.com/rv-electric...nuisance-trip/

I had similar problem with my ‘21 419 (same floor plan a little bigger garage). I replaced the GFCI and all is well. It was plugged into house 15a GFCI when it was doing it too. Makes sense but I replaced and it stopped so….

different issue but similar

I have a similar issue, after reading the other posts I don't think they understood. It is the GFCI on the inverter itself if I understand you. they replaced my inverter and it still malfunctions. Looking at the transfer switch next.

I was under the impression it was the outlet by sink that was tripping. That’s what was happening to me. My apologies.

I have a 2021 428 and am having similar problems. I was told the fridge runs on the inverter. I also have a GFCI that keeps tripping. It happens to be in the half bath which is hard to get to. I`m boondocking and my fridge isn't staying very cold. And yes, i`m having to run the generator.

I was looking to see if anyone else was having the same issues and I guess so. I`ll be having solar with a Victron MultiPlus inverter installed in a month. I`m going to get my multimeter out and do some investigating.

Check your ground at the batteries, they often just screwed it to the painted surface, after I pulled and cleaned mine to make sure I had a clean metal to metal ground I never had the problem again.

Thanks! I changed the GFCI outlet and verified the voltage at both batteries and inverter.

Changing the GFCI outlet worked in my case, hopefully it will for you also.

I’ve got the generator running and have checked outlets inside. I still have a couple of dead outlets. There must be another GFCI somewhere. I’ve flipped the GFCI breaker too.

I have one in the front pass through. Near to the water controls. That is my inverter circuit.

Aahhh! I didn’t think about that! I also just happened to think about my outside kitchen which is in the outside part of the slideout where the fridge is. I’m going to do some investigation tomorrow.
