dinette slide-rack system

My Dinette slide, which has the Rack style slide where the motor turns the gear and it slides in and out, has started to slow ever so slightly and I wonder if there is a way to lube everything as part of maintenance.I like to keep everything maintained and not sure if anything needs wiped down or greased etc for that type of system. any help appreciated!

You could lubricate all the moving parts with a DRY silicone lube. It may be a bit slower for different reasons, weaker battery(s), wear and tear on slide motor, drag on the floor, seals hanging up….Start with lube and go from there.

Yea its the dinette slide that tends to tilt for and aft a little depending on going in and out, but seals up level.. in my experience those rack slides in the three camper I have owned have never operated as smoothly as the cable slides.. Its definitely past due for some attention. I always look at seals for gaps and tears and stuff but haven't lubed anything up on this camper yet. Some dry silicon spray on the rack and guide wheels after a good cleaning and then some seal lube and conditioner would certainly be beneficial no matter what..
