New(ish) Montana owner!

Hello!

My name is Ed. My wife Beth and I just purchased a 2018 Montana. We are very excited! Having some issues, so I'll be posting/asking Qs in other topic areas shortly...

We started with a Jayco pop-up, dual axle w/ a slide-out. We saw it and said "That's the biggest pop-up we've ever seen!" We took it camping the first few times and people told us "That's the biggest pop-up we've ever seen!" I think we camped 10-12 times that first season with our 3 young kids.

We moved up to a Jayco 23B hybrid travel trailer. It had two(!) wardrobes, and a full(ish) size fridge/freezer! Had that for almost 10 years.

Now, we are very excited to own this 2018 Montana 3950BR. The bunk room can be used as an office, so we can travel a bit more since I am working remotely now after the pandemic. Kids aren't quite so interested, so it is will be mostly just us from now on. Of course, we also had to buy a new pick-em-up truck, too, so we will be pinching pennies for a while.

Maybe we'll see you on the road!

Ed

Campgroundreviews.com is now pushing reviewers to characterize wifi more specifically at various reviewed campsites. A good tool for picking places where you can have decent wifi. If you travel and don't want to be restricted to the few campsites with good wifi, then my suggestion would be to start exploring various unlimited 4G/5G companies that specialize in RV owner use. I am not talking about the telcos who have unlimited with much fine print and throttling but true unlimited. They are out there. You will want more than just a hot spot but also a router so you have your own private wifi in your camper. Not cheap but the price of working remotely from your rv. Good luck!
