Hello from South Carolina

Hi my fiance & I bought a used 2015 Keystone Outback lite travel trailer to live in. Bought in Wis(where we are from) & moved to South Carolina. The whole RV living is all very new to us...we have only both tent camped before & have downsized our lives from 2 houses to 1 camper. It's been a challenge!

We hauled the camper down w\my 2020 Ram 1500, we went a bit overweight after loading the camper & back of truck w\all our belongings! I think my truck recovered. Interstates were not good for us, too much swaying & we ended up taking state & county roads the whole way down. Made for a longer trip but, wasn't horrible & far less stressful (til we hit the mountains)!

Howdy, and welcome from Pennsylvania! That is a drastic change, hope you enjoy it, and ask away!

Thank you! We do have questions as we purchased a used camper & discovered last night that one or more tanks, we are assuming black tank has been leaking into the underbelly of the camper...been parked for just over 2 weeks & have dumped tanks 4x now & couldn't get rid of smell for more than a day. Now we know why. He stabbed a couple holes into the bottom & brown nasty stinky water poured out for quite awhile. We then put the hose in the toilet & it drained out from the holes for a bit longer then too. Even after we turned the hose off.

Hello and welcome to you and your fiance to the forum!

Congrats on the purchase of your new to your Outback, and sounds like there are a few issues to work out. We have many very knowledgeable folks here who are willing to share.

Have fun and stay safe!
