Keystone KSB-200305 Furrion to Winegard OTA Antenna Replacement

Help!! We have a 2020 Avalanche 382FL and the air TV sucks. We are often camping within 40 miles of major TV stations (St. Louis) and cannot keep the stations on any of the TVs. So what I am asking, is if we have the Furrion antenna, our dealer should be replacing it with the Wingard OTA antenna?

You will need to take it to the dealership to have them assess the situation and see if it indeed faulty. The bulletin said not all units were affected and normal, proper repair/warranty procedures should be followed.

Faulty, as in falling off?? We have not been able to get any quality air TV at campgrounds where we have camped with our old camper with the King crank antenna since we bought this camper in April of 2020.

Couple questions that haven't been asked yet.
The antenna booster is on?
The TV is set to antenna in the setup menu?
The channels have been scanned?
These must be done every time you move to a new location.

The bigger issue with this antenna is not whether it works or not, but the wing part comes loose and can fall off while traveling and hit another vehicle. A couple that were parked across from us with a fairly new Montana had this antenna and it was obvious that it was about to come apart. I brought them the NHTSA recall notice along with the Keystone notice so they could followup on this. They had to leave before getting it replaced, but had their son Gorilla tape it together until they could get it replaced.

Yes, yes, yes. It sucks! We asked our dealer about it after our first trip out. Personally think their Key TV should be called Crap TV......Funniest part is, when the weather is crappy, we get more channels (for awhile anyway).
