Post I want to wire a inverter to transfer my DC to AC for my passport 2670BH

I want to wire a inverter to transfer my DC to AC for my passport 2670BH.

I'm researching what I need to do and what is a good inverter to use. All tips, help and guide is appreciated.

What is a good inverter? Do you have wiring instruction?

Welcome to the forum

First you need to decide what you want to power with the inverter. From there you can determine what size inverter, and do you want just an inverter or an inverter/charger. You also need to determine battery(s). Once we have that figured out, wiring it all up is the easy part.

Chuckster57, my big goal is to power the 120 plugs for my chargers, laptop, mifi and other devices like that.

My thought is this would be just a inverter getting power from my batteries and maybe a solar panel is charging the batteries. Are you suggesting the inverter can charge the batteries?

I need new batteries, any recommendations you like?

You can get a charger/ inverter built together. If all your looking for is a few outlets to plug in small draw appliances, I would simply get the inverter.
Total up how many watts you’ll need and get the appropriate sized inverter.

The inverter should come with detailed instructions and some come with illustrations also. Install is fairly straight forward, and if you need new batteries I would opt for a pair of 6V golf cart batteries.
