Radio always on
I have an IRV radio that always plays when I plug in the trailer upon arrival at campsite. It appears to be on "standby" and once I plug it in to the power post, it starts playing music. Had not done this last year. Any suggestions?

That's a weird one. When you plug in is the circuit breaker off on the power post or the main in the TT off? If the answer is yes I'd say there is a logic problem in the power section of the radio. You might consider adding an extra switch in the power line.

Check to see if the alarm clock is set on the radio. That is usually the problem. Radio is off with battery disconnect but when converter is supplying 12v (connected to shore power) the radio comes on ...... nothing strange , just rv normal.

Just have the volume all the way down and it will not matter if it comes on or not.

Had a similar problem with a Jensen radio
I found the little recessed reset button on the bottom left side
After resetting 3 times , the "auto on" issue went away
Good luck!!

You could always install a cheap car audio system and it would be way better and ditch the junk that came in it all at the same time.
