We took 62 south all the way to I-5/Medford, this route to Medford was long steep pulls, made it with no problems but if i had to do it again, I would come back down 97 to Weed CA, it will add 30 miles on this route. I can only imagine what Grants Pass would be like!!!

We plan on taking this route when we leave Prospect. We wanted to sight -see on the way out. I have been up & down 97 through Kfalls many, many times. Thought going out through Medford would be something new. Do you advise against st this route?

I am not against this route, it was just a nicer easier route up 97. There was also a lot of single lane construction on 62 through the climbs.
