Camera ready but no wire.

Hello,

I have a new '21 Hideout. I went to install a camera on the back but when I removed the black cap but there was no wire. Behind the black cap there was a 1" hole in the body, I fished around inside. I found a wire to the left but it appears to be a "romex" cable, the kind used in residential wiring and there was no slack on it. There is a sticker to the left that says "Camera Ready."

I'm assuming the cable has slipped inside. Hopefully it hasn't fallen out of reach.

Thoughts?

It’s probably pulling it’s power from the center clearance light. You might pull off the light and see if the wiring is connected there.

Ditto, mine was taped to the clearance light wiring.

+1 Although accessible from the cover, it is a splice to the middle clearance light.
