Fancy window shades

I was watching a Keystone DIY video on adjusting the window shades and noted the example the tech was using has two separate shades for each window - one a mesh looking shade that you can see through and one a thick black shade (like I have).

I'm thinking I might like to have that fancy set up in my camper and would like to know:

1. what is the general opinion of people that have these type of shades? Are they a good thing, or more trouble than they're worth?

2. Where would be the best place to get these shades to fit all the windows of my camper?

Start with the dealership where you purchased your camper. They will be your best lead. You may pay a bit more than getting them off Amazon or somewhere else, but when you get them, they'll be right.

We have those type of shades in our 2020 Montana and have had some real problems with them breaking. We learned to never travel with the shades pulled completely down, now they are all the way up which helps protect the mechanism from breaking! We have replaced both bedroom shades and the large shade in the rear window in the living room also. They are nice shades when working, but they break and are difficult to replace. Just our opinion of course but having lived it makes it worth sharing!!!!! Good luck
