Hideout Replacement Stove Hood Vent

Somehow my oven hood vent broke off this last trip. Is there a source for official Keystone parts, or is this something where most aftermarket items will work as long as the measurements line up?

Make, model & year would be VERY helpful?

Is the vent hood still usable and able to be remounted?

I'm guessing you are talking about the flap on the outside for the range hood exhaust. There was some recent post regarding this the past few days. Try searching for "range hood flap you may find it.

My outside plastic vent for the oven vent deteriorated because my camper is old. I measured it and found an exact duplicate on either eBay or Amazon. Keystone doesn't make those things; some manufacturing company does. Mine had a name (can't recall) and the one I bought was very likely made by the same company almost 20 years later.

Make sure you get the right style. The most common is the flat one with pins on the ends

I drilled a hole through the flapper because mine was making noise on a windy day and the tabs are junk, hard to reach . I drilled a hole big enough to Slide a steel gas welding rod through the flapper through the vent housing and bent the end down out of sight . I can open and close it from under the hood one of the better mods I done on the camper .
